As part of an interior design assignment, we received an exterior plan of an apartment that cannot be changed at all. The character I have chosen to design for is Kate Middleton. In the planning of the apartment it was important to designate a space dedicated for the service, where the kitchen and maid room will be located. In my design, I emphasized that Kate would not have to reach the service area at all. In Kate's area - a bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. In the service area - bedroom and kitchen, and of course a public area  with a seating area, dining room and other bathroom where Kate can host.

My inspiration for designing the apartment came from Kate's famous pictures. Kate tends to dress and restrained, yet boldly and colorful, and so I tried to design her apartment. I used textures and various colored materials in different rooms in different forms: fabrics, flooring, walls, pictures and woodwork details.
